As part of their ongoing health and wellbeing program, the Tonga National Netball Men’s Team recently participated in a rowing session. This unique activity forms part of the team’s holistic preparation for the upcoming tournament in Fiji this August 2025.
More than just physical training on the court, the paddling session aimed to strengthen the players’ mental resilience, teamwork, and overall wellness. It provided an opportunity for the team to connect with nature, relieve stress, and build camaraderie outside the usual training environment.
This initiative highlights the team’s commitment to comprehensive development recognizing that mental and emotional wellbeing is just as important as physical fitness when preparing for high-level competition.
We wish our national men’s netball team the very best as they continue their preparations for the regional stage!
