PSDGN Annual General Meeting in Suva. Fiji

The Executive Director of the Tonga Leitis Association (TLA), Ms. Joey Joleen Mataele, recently participated in the Pacific Sexual and Gender Diversity Network (PSDGN) Annual General Meeting (AGM) held last week in Suva, Fiji.

This two-day event brought together PSDGN members from across the Pacific region to reflect on their achievements, strengthen partnerships, and discuss strategic plans to advance equality, inclusion, and human rights for all gender-diverse communities in the Pacific.

We are proud to share that Ms. Joey Mataele has been elected as member of the PSDGN Board, a well-deserved recognition of her continued leadership, advocacy, and dedication to promoting equality and visibility for the LGBTQI+ community not only in Tonga but throughout the Pacific region.

The Tonga Leitis Association extends its warmest congratulations to all the newly elected Board Members and looks forward to continued collaboration and solidarity in ensuring a more inclusive and empowered Pacific.
